GC, RW, AG Coons ‘Kin Smokey Joe of Snowy Range is known as “Joseph” to his friends and fans. I never planned to fall in love with Joe – my agreement with his breeder was just to grand him and then return him. You get very close to a cat when you travel together, spending many nights in hotels, and hundreds, if not thousands of miles flying to cat shows. Joe and I became incredibly fond of each other, and finally his breeder told us it was obvious that we loved each other and he should just stay with us! He is so very gentle and is such a joy to show. Joe has a habit of stealing the judge’s toy when he is being evaluated in the ring and believes once he has hold of a toy it is permanently his. The spectators at the show love this and I have to keep an arsenal of toys to replace the toys he steals from the judges!
